About ENT For Kids
We appreciate and thank you for your interest in ENT For Kids. ENT For Kids is all about providing exceptional care for your child’s ears, nose, and throat. That is why we are the Midlands premiere choice for pediatric ears, nose and throat care. In addition, we specialize in hearing assessments and sleep services.

At ENT For Kids, our primary concern is about caring for kids of all ages. That is why we offer patients a kid-friendly environment filled with books, stickers, as well as the latest family-friendly movies. We like to keep their young minds entertained. We always want them to have a great experience. Our goal is to consistently provide your child with an enjoyable visit.
What We Are About
While visiting with us, our pediatric ENT doctor and medical staff will provide young patients with a comprehensive assessment and evaluation of their ears, nose, and throat. An assessment and evaluation will also be provided of their head and neck. After evaluation and diagnosis, our ENT staff will provide appropriate, comprehensive, and caring treatment options for your child. If ever there is a need for additional treatment, we will schedule follow-up appointments at your family’s convenience.
We also provide child hearing and audiology services in partnership with the Columbia Hearing Center. We are very happy to have our own audiologist, Jamie Monzingo, AuD. In addition, we also have our own nurse practitioner at ENT For Kids. Our nurse practitioner is Jenny O’Neill, CNP. Jenny has been an excellent addition and has provided us with great clinical support. We are very grateful to have both Jamie and Jenny on our staff.

Fred T. Garner, MD, FACS
At ENT For Kids, our practice is unique to offer the services of Dr. Frederick Tatum Garner. He has been fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology, and is board certified in both Otolaryngology as well as Sleep Medicine. He is the only pediatric ENT specialist in Columbia, SC with these unique credentials. Dr. Garner currently has 37 years of medical experience. Most of his time has been spent right here in the Midlands of South Carolina as a pediatric otolaryngologist. He now specializes in the treatment of ear and sinus infections, hearing loss, and sleep disorders.
In 1992, Dr. Garner began treating young patients in Columbia. He moved here right after completing his fellowship at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He is now affiliated with and performs ENT surgical services for local hospitals in Columbia. Dr. Garner’s current hospital affiliations include Prisma Health Children’s Hospital and the Palmetto Surgery Center. Read more about all our providers at ENT For Kids.

Dr. Fred T. Garner earned his medical degree and received professional ENT training from the following educational institutions:
