Since 1992, Dr. Fred Garner has been practicing ENT medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He then completed his residency at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center. Afterwards, he completed his fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at Washington University and the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Garner now specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of ear and sinus infections, hearing loss, and obstructive sleep apnea. His current hospital affiliations include Prisma Health Children’s Hospital and the Palmetto Surgery Center. Dr. Garner is Dual-Board Certified in Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine, of which he is the only pediatric ENT specialist in Columbia, SC with these unique credentials. He is also a current member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. ENT For Kids and Dr. Garner are now affiliated with Charleston ENT & Allergy in Charleston, South Carolina.
Jenny O’Neill, FNP-BC
Jenny joined ENT For Kids in April 2016. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Queens University in 2010. Jenny graduated in 2015 from the University of South Carolina with her Master of Science in Nursing. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is on the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes Midlands Division as well as a member of the Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck Nurses (SOHN). Jenny is Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certified.
Jamie Monzingo, AuD, CCC-A, F-AAA
Dr. Monzingo joined ENT For Kids and Columbia Hearing Center as a full time audiologist in November 2017. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2009. Dr. Monzingo graduated in 2013 from The University of North Texas with her Doctorate in Audiology after completing a one year externship at the Georgia Hearing Institute in Macon, GA. She works with several state programs including Beginnings, Children with Special Healthcare Needs, and Baby Net. Dr. Monzingo is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
